Ross Nancarrow 22 June 2014 The Church

Matthew 29:18-20; 1 Peter 3:15-16; ‘The Sower’ is a term given to Disciples of Jesus who share their faith. Answering the questions ‘Who are we are in God’s family and what we can do in the Mission of the Church’ empowers us. Our frame of reference for these questions needs to be sourced in Jesus and scripture. As a disciple of Jesus, I am one who follows, one who learns and one who does what Jesus did. Being a disciple and a sower demands that I honour and respect other peoples choices of what they do with the seed I sow. Building bridges of love and care for the Gospel to penetrate my community is a vital part of loving my neighbour.
