On Sunday 8 February 2015 Jon Mitchell will be preaching at the Sunday Morning Service.
We are keen to hear all that God has been doing through the Mitchells in PNG and the plans that he has laid on their hearts. Since their isn’t enough time to give this justice in our normal worship service we hope to include a tantaliser in the service and then come back in the evening for a pot luck meal and a full presentation by the Mitchells.
So bring some food to share from 6.00 pm and then we’ll fuel up our prayer journals as the Mitchells update us for the next phase of this mission.
If you are new-ish and don’t know the Mitchells, here is a bit of background:
Jon and Janet lived in Singleton and were members of Singleton Baptist Church when God called them to missions. They trained with New Tribes Missions (now CrossView Australia) and along with their daughters Jacinta and Josie have been serving in Papua New Guinea (PNG) since December 2006. They are currently at home on furlough.
